I was born and raised in south Texas ranch country. After graduation I began working in the oil field as a heavy equipment operator and within a few years moved up the ladder to general manager. In 1983 I married Margo, my wife of 40 years, in Victoria, Texas. My wife and I worked in their family business for several years. I was offered a purchasing job in the Houston area with a large Manufacturing plant. After 5 years we moved to the Texas Hill Country. I worked for an excavation company as general manager until I decided to get my real estate license in 2010. We opened Sam-Mar Ranch Realty, LLC in 2013. In 2015 Margo & I decided to open another chapter in our life that is to purchase real estate in New Mexico and move to the Ruidoso area. A dream of ours for many years. After living in Ruidoso for 14 months we decided it was too cold and most of all we missed TEXAS! We realized the small town of Blanco was our home. We sold our property in NM and moved back to Blanco in December 2017. We re-opened Sam-Mar Ranch Realty, LLC. Margo and I care about our clients and together we can accomplish your goals.
